A downloaded Aadhaar/e-Aadhaar file can be prepared as a front-and-back print layout on a 4×6 sheet for card printing.

Why this matters

For PVC printing, alignment is often more important than the sheet size itself. Incorrect front/back position, ratio or printer scaling can cause a mismatch after cutting.

Step-by-step method

Open the Aadhaar Card Print Tool.
Upload front and back separately, or use a supported combined file.
After auto crop, confirm that name, photo, QR and margins are not cut off.
Choose the 4×6, 300 DPI layout.
Set the printer to Actual Size/100% scaling instead of Fit to Page.
For duplex printing, test front/back alignment on plain paper first.
